Hey Reb,

I know that you and Kip are close to getting back together, and writing songs, and I know that you are close to going out with Whitesnake as well. Why not do a "daily blog" thing, and post short vids on the site to give us diehards a chance to see the writing process or recording process, and maybe when you go out, do a daily/weekly video out with Whitesnake? Now that cameras are so small, and uploads are faster....maybe do a few? Anyone else want to pipe in? Things seem to happen to Reb that happen to no one else.

Hi Kyle, hope you and the family are doing well! I suggested this idea to Kip a long, long, LOOOOOOOOOONG time ago...the last tour. No go. Who knows though. Maybe now that it's been suggested by someone else, it'll be considered.

I think one of the problems is that no one really wants to sit down and "BLOG" (I hate that word!) at all! Not really something that any of the guys are into and even though the video thing would be a lot easier (and MANY bands/artists have been doing it with a great response), it would still require someone to just DO IT and the second there was a lull, people bitch.

Is it baseball season yet?

Hey Maz,

Family is doing well. I'm in the middle of softball season. First year of high school girls and the drama is unbelievable, and it's mostly NOT from the girls. Anyway, hope all is well with you.
Yep, I wish we could get at least a video blog of backstage stuff or rehearsal, or whatever from Reb. Maybe he can run a contest and get people to meet him for soundcheck and video it and the show. I don't know. Just a thought. Us 80s metal folks are getting older and need some sort of ROCK outlet. I'm one of them. Glad to see a lot of it coming back where my two kids enjoy my music, but IT'S MINE! I need to Rock soon.

lol, Kyle, I suggested every single one of those ideas. Everything from "premium" meet & greet packages, to contests for a variety of prizes...tickets, passes, CD's, posters...merch, pre/post party etc., to doing a Winger week/weekend thing at a hotel a'la Fantasy Camp, with both musician packages (to include instructions seminars and band jam at a local club) to Fan packages (to include meet&greet or QA sessions and free entrance and "vip" area to band jam at local club) to even trying to get them on to one of those cruise ship things that are NOW so friggin popular. That's just to name a few of the things I suggested... very few Winger/Kip Winger fans (because I DID suggest that maybe Kip might try this stuff solo, since his fanbase is quite strong, meaning they'd be quite receptive to any one of these things) will ever know how I really tried, despite the b.s. to get something really NEAT for Winger fans! No go. Way too much to figure out I suppose..considering it's 4-5 different schedules to try and organize, or just no interest? I dunno. Who knows, maybe down the line, if things all fall in line, something like any one of those ideas might come to fruition.
