Thanks for your input on the ESP LTD EC 10000 (say that five times fast haha)! Seriously, I really appreciate you guys chime-ing in especially you Alex who has an adorable newborn baby girl in your life and taking the time to reply.
I will keep you posted. I made a "best offer" on a brand new one on ebay, and he counter offered, now I will just check with the only local ESP dealer and see if he can beat it.
She showed up yesterday! Still getting used to her. Its been a long time since I've played a "finished/clearcoated" neck. Someday I might have the neck sanded down some similar to the Zakk Wylde LPs. She sounds amazing, stays in tune pretty damn good for a LP type guitar(I had an LP Standard w/Sperzels, graftek saddles/nut and it still went out of tune more than normal) the EMGs smoke, and the guitar shines! I played it for a while, then put it on the stand, and I'd just admire it(yeah that sounds lame but its been a long time since I got a brand new guitar).
WOW! that is fargin' beautiful! I think I'll admire it for a while, too. I love really ornate looking guitars with lots of inlays and bindings. I've been building a new axe for myself, for a new birthday guitar. It's more or less finished.
Man,
That is beautiful, i told you each time i got to Sam ash THAT IS THE ONE I PLAY, or the ESP version, now this one has nothing to envy from the ESP
Congratulations
Congrats fro your new guitar. That guitar brights every place you look at.. nice binding.
One of my friends have one exactly the same but in red finish with flame top and I play several times with that and sounds BIGGGG and FAT with Emgs... and weights less than a LP with a thinner neck.
So you have both of two worlds but the best... the shape and tone of an LP and the weight and thinner neck of a superstrat guitar.
