I think Winger should cover this tune live and do a studio version of it. It would be killah! Kip crankin those vocals, and bass lines, then sitting behind the keyboard and slammin out that distorted keyboard solo then John and Reb cranking that harmony solo dropped down a whole step in tuning all the while Rod is slamming the drums! Would be mint so see and hear! I love that song.

Doing a Deep Purple track, even though it was sung by Ian Gillan is just a bit TOO close to Coverdale/Whitesnake territory for me to stomach to be honest. I would have though the last thing anyone would want is for Winger to go down THAT road.

Well I am pretty sure Night Ranger played that tune when reb was touring with them.
