I need to respond to the clow that continues to put down all the 93's.
Just to put things in perspective I've done research and The top 92 rated player in this coming NHL Draft is Tyler Seguin. He had 3 goals and 12 assists for 15 points in his rookie year after 23 games. He currently has 19 goals and 17 assists for 36 points in 18 games. Also to note Seguin did not register his first OHL goal until his 16th game of the season.

John McFarland the first over-all pick last season finished 9th in rookie scoring with 21 goals and 31 assists for 52 points he is currently ranked in the top 10 picks of the first round of the 2010 NHL Draft.

I can tell you that everyone in the Soo organization is very happy with Cat's game. Just like Barrie is very happy with Strome, Brampton is very happy with Goodrow, Guelph is very happy with Mitchell and Sandlak...etc. NHL scouts are not only looking at a players stats, if that was the case then Ryan O'reilly another first over-all OHL pick two years ago scored 16 and 19 goals in his two OHL seasons. At age 18 he is now playing in the NHL for Colorado and has 14 points in 18 games with a +13 rating. You see, there are other things scouts look for.

I'm just sick of this person that needs to bash these kids for his own, or his son's short-comings,
plus I have some time here at work it's a little slow this morning. Have a good day!

8:53, it's extremely rare that a 16 year old will take on a 19 year old in the O.

at least Camara is an O 1st round draft and is playing a regular shift in the league as an underager. 2 things that headcase Rinaldo cannot claim.

I give Camara all the credit for making the O.

But he really is not a fighter. Sorry but I have seen the kid coward to many people over the years.

10:12, i know more about Rinaldo than you do. he's a 1 dimensional player who at best will be a career AHLer with a small double double in the show.

here's a newsflash: the NHL signs busts too.

a lot of players don't pan-out (ever hear of the Leafs?), especially those drafted in the last rounds like he was.

he's a stiff and you're a plug.

Re: Where is Camara?

10:25, you are a clueless tool.

you keep saying Rinaldo is now a "rich one" by signing an ELC. you must have him confused with players with the last name of Duchene, Hodgson, Tavares, Gagner, Staal, etc.,

here's his stats. his real talents can be viewed in the youtube links above. why don't you walk us thru how "rich" a 4th line grinder with hands of stone is & will be?

Re: Where is Camara?

9;39 you failed to answer what team did you get drafted into the nhl by, sounds like maybe Rinaldo filled you in along the way.Guys like Rinaldo will always have a place to play on because they are who gives the guys like Duchene,Tavares room to play, tell me this would you sooner have him on your team giving your star players courage and space on the ice or playing against him, knowing that when you have the puck he is liable to hit you into oblivion.I guess maybe you know a litle bit more than the nhl team who drafted him.Oh yeah i forgot to remind you that he has been selected to play in the ohl top prospects game coached by Don Cherry and Bobby Orr maybe you can ask him for a ticket to see the game or spend your money either way not bad for a 4th line grinder that you call him.Who is the plug now

Re: Where is Camara?

November 19 2009, 1:25 PM

7:03, you just proved that people who beak the loudest are the biggest poser plugs out there.

"you failed to answer what team did you get drafted into the nhl by,"
- wow, you have completely disarmed me. this is the whole Mike Babcock and Scotty Bowman argument, where they're not fit enough to coach in the NHL much less ever win Lord Stanley's mug because neither was drafted or played in the show. nice try neanderthal.

btw, how do you figure what level of hockey i made it to? not getting drafted doesn't mean a person did not play elite level hockey. and you might not have heard this shocking news, but there are players in the NHL that were never drafted! imagine that?! just last last night - check out Ryan Wilson of the Avalanche. besides, this board would be dead silent if only those "drafted into the nhl" were allowed to post.

"sounds like maybe Rinaldo filled you in along the way."
- another earth shattering deduction. i may equally conclude that you got filled in along the way in the shower room. maybe you enjoy it. i don't know and don't care, that's your business.

"Guys like Rinaldo will always have a place to play on because they are who gives the guys like Duchene,Tavares room to play, tell me this would you sooner have him on your team giving your star players courage and space on the ice or playing against him,"
- let me guess: you got this from the hockey for dummies book? dude, a guy like Rinaldo will never play along side Duchene or Tavares. that's reserved for power forwards who can score and scrap if need be. guys like Kassian, Nemisz, Morin, Della Rovere, etc. if you like Rinaldo because you're a Knights fan, look at the Black Hawks - Kane was playing with Bolland until he got hurt. Tavares is playing with Moulson & Okposo. the days of putting a meathead like Semenko on with Gretzky went out with 30 cent gas.

"knowing that when you have the puck he is liable to hit you into oblivion."
- dirty hits putting "you into oblivion" is obvious. the link above when takes out the Otter's (now Av's) star Ryan O'Reilley last year is clear. he received an 8 game suspension for that bonehead move. after the Fanelli hit, if he pulls that shit again he'll joining Liambas in the stands. Rinaldo is a psycho who stalks players for the blindside hit. the one on Yogan is straight out of the McSorely handbook.

"I guess maybe you know a litle bit more than the nhl team who drafted him."
- the Bowman/Babcock argument again, right? here's a poorly kept secret: Paul Holmgren and his boss are not the most respected men in the hockey community. they also signed psychos like Dan Carcillo and Steve Downie. notice a trend here? at least those guys could find the back of the net in the O, and were drafted much higher. 1 even has a gold medal, but they dumped him. i wonder why?

"Oh yeah i forgot to remind you that he has been selected to play in the ohl top prospects game coached by Don Cherry and Bobby Orr maybe you can ask him for a ticket to see the game or spend your money either way not bad for a 4th line grinder that you call him."
- lmao! this is your best material yet!! dude, when i can i take these games in and i'm certain i've attended more of these than you.
first, these games have been held once a year throughout Canada depending on which CHL team bids and is awarded the game. so it's not called or is just the "ohl top prospects" game - it's the CHL top prospects game:
http://homehardwaretopprospectsgame.com/
second, Orr & Cherry are not always the honoured coaches.
third, the purpose of this game is to present the top 40 (20 players per team) CHL (not just OHL) players who are eligible for the upcoming draft. so in Windsor this year we'll see players like Hall, Seguin, Gudbranson, Hishon, Skinner, (from the O) etc.
fourth, Rinaldo will not be there unless he's in the stands wearing civies. nor was he at the 2008 game as he wasn't even ranked at mid-term.
fifth, smack yourself in the head. repeat as many times as necessary to knock some sense into it.

"Who is the plug now"
- you've left little doubt that you are the board's biggest butt plug. enjoy the well deserved mantle.

1;25 the biggest plug out there, you have just proved our point you definitely got filled in by Rinaldo, man your jealousy is coming through big time.I will bet you any amount of money that within 3 years you will be driving down to the air canada centre and buying tickets from the scalpers to see the Philadelphia Flyers play the Leafs and you will be waiting around afterwards asking for your Rinaldo autograph.Buddy your a joke bottom line is the kid got drafted to the show and you just buy popcorn there case closed.By the way are you still sucking threw the straw.

Re: Where is Camara?

November 20 2009, 10:01 AM

8:00, first he had me buying a ticket to this year's "OHL Top Prospects" game to watch Rinaldo play. duh?! now he's willing to bet his bankroll, the trailer he lives in, that i'll buy a ticket to go watch Rinaldo play in the ACC. shyaah. the way he goes on about people getting "filled in", along with his barely decipherable language, there's no doubt that he's related to one of the Deliverance hillbillies.

9:30pm, your "no I'm not, you are" debating skills grow tiresome. with hands of stone, Rinaldo will be done in 3 (his ELC) to 5 years (with about 8 games in the show), after having his head ripped off by guys like Ryan Donally, Brandon Sugden, Hans Benson, Milan Maslonka, etc. and i'm done with you now.

Rinaldo played a good game last night. Sure he took a penalty for some spirited hitting but all in all his high tempo play was very instrumental to the way the team played.
