| WOW!
Now that's what I'm talking about!
I looked all 5 photos over and this is what I take out of them.
Photo(1)The rear hull has what looks like 2 exhased ports as if pipes where there. The rear Engine doors are very large and are mounted on a larger box that looks level with the rear idler wheel mount. One thing that all the Tanks in the photos have is what looks like the same Track set-up (LT=T54? RT=T54E2)Tracks or best I can tell.
Photo(2)One thing that got me is the Bow MG.It looks like a welded "Neck" on to the MG ball looks as if a 30.Cal was not used.My guess a French MG of some type.
Photo(3)This Tank has the same rear setup as the Tank in Photo(1)once more no Engine deck or Engine? ( In Photo (1) there looks like a Engine tucked in the back of the compartment this maybe a Diesel Engine as used in M4A2 Tanks. And I fell that France may have RE-ENGINED all the Lebanese Fireflies,Mainly because they had M4A2 to do so.It's something to think about.
Photo(4)Is the same Tank as in Photo(3) but from the front view. Here you can see the "NECK" on the Bow MG ball. One main thing missing on all 5 Fireflies are the
Muzzle brakes,This is what gives Fireflies that neat and mean look.
Photo(5)This is a real Firefly,The M4A4 Hull and the gaps of the road wheels is apaerant. In this Photo I can't tell if there is a Engine Deck or not,The two Marines on the deck area looks like they are standing on the deck,If the deck was a M4A4 deck the Radiator Cover Hump is missing.
So this must = no Multi-Bank Engine,The Marine at the end of the tank has his Left foot on what looks like a Exhast Pipe?
All in all I fell that all the Fireflies here are M4A4 tanks,Photos(1,2)Have Late War Turrets and Photos(3,4,5,)Have Early War mainly #5 you can see the Louders Hatch Rest.
Thanks GUYS.
