I have only been on this non-sport board a few times but enjoy the esprit de corps on this side as the baseball side can get very contentious. Anyway, my 92 year old father started an Indiam Gum set in his youth in 1933. Dad cannot go to shows any longer so I have been chipping away at it for a few years now. Was down to the last card and visited Marty's booth (though I just found out who it was in this thread). Of the 100+ cards he had from the set, Debbie and I found the elusive #119 as the third to last card. I was obviously ecstatic. When I asked how much the card was, Marty gave it to me for free! What a gracious and classy thing to do. Admittedly, the card did not have much value in its condition but it was the great gesture of giving me the last card for the set that will be a very pleasant memory from the Baltimore National. Thanks Marty and Debbie!
