Tee Vee Skyflyers from the 50s...................

Another of my favorites is this 1952 issue by Feature Pak Candies Co. of Chicago. An obscure set with somewhat crude artwork, but I love it. A set consisted of 30 doubled sided cards numbered 1-60. There are also 30 different foil badges(could never compete with the popularity of the Hoppy foils, but are at least 50x tougher to locate). These items came in a small cardboard woodgrain TV looking box. I believe a box would include a 3 card perforated panel, one foil badge and candy. The panel was folded as one of the cards appeared in the "tee vee screen" to tempt you. What a bargain back in the day. Intact panels are also tough to come by as is the Tee Vee box. I know a brave few pursuing this set, does anyone have it complete, cards and badges? Obscure but still very underrated. I give it two thumbs up.

Richard, very much agree, a very cool and under-collected set!  (Your foils look great, by the way.)

Sold mine about 10 years ago during breakup of my 50s/60s collection, to a very well-known collector, who by now has a collection that must rival the Smithsonian!

Had, I think, entire set in strips, plus all the foil badges and the box.

I love these cards, Richard.
I've been working on a set for quite a while but I'm only half way there
and I have none of the badges or the box.
Very cool and indeed underrated.

I like this set too....

I have been working on it for some time and have a ways to go on both the panels and the badges.

I have a checklist of all the badges except #30. Can anyone tell me the title of that one?

Todd, I'm going to give you some secret info, don't tell anybody . Badges 13 and 30 are both "space ace". Number 13 has the wing to the left and 30 the wing is to the right. Only a few collectors know this, I couldn't keep it to myself any longer. This longstanding mystery is now solved!!

All right Richard!
Thanks for letting me in on the secret. Hopefully nobody else will see this until I finish my set.
