Mastro's Connoisseur Sale

I was high bidder on four lots when the red Bidding Closed came on the sites for those lots. I thought I had won them. When I received my invoice I found I had only won two lots.

I didn't realize that Bidding Closed didn't mean Bidding Closed. e-Bay bidders were still allowed to bid. So I was outbid on one lot by $10 and the other by $5.

So Mastro Auctions gained $15 and I lost "my" two lots. I am not happy about this type of auction.

This happen to anyone else?

Guess I'm going to the national this year - will I see you there? I didn't realize that bidding kept going in the manner you described. Scary - too bad I wasn't outbid on the one lot I "won".

I had to go the $25 increase route in the auction then Mastro/eBay allowed a $5 increase on a $275 lot after I was out. Not fair. I will bring this up with Mastro in Chicago.

Are you setting up with Glenn?

Henry/Jerry - I'll be at the National, too. I'm coordinating a meet-up (dinner) during the National. More details as the National gets closer...
