Congrats Ralph!
Yet another last night. 32 more and this set will be worthy of it own page and perhaps an admission Charge.
I assume you know about the crease middle right? Still a super nice card. I did not have enough bullets to overcome you guys.
Again, very nice Ralph...I believe Dan asked you did you really need 2?! and you answered "yes sir,may I have another sir?"
Well, you got it!
Are you going to have these slabbed? or keep raw?

Chas -- up until a month ago, I'd not seen even one of these on ebay, literally in YEARS!!!

Then, three in a mere couple of weeks' time. The eBay gods are fickle like that, go figger . . .

And yup, guess I now seem committed to finding 32 more to 'complete the set'!

It might be doable Ralph. According to Mastro... Fleer's archives went out the back door when the company failed. From their current auction:

"It is well known that in their final years Fleer did not have a preserved archive like the one that Topps has been selling off for years through their various Topps Vault events. But there certainly was a Fleer archive at one time, and the consignor of these various advertising and premium pieces retrieved these pieces before the company's many files and samples were sent to the landfill. Most of these 40+ items are glued to sheets of oak tag paper that demonstrate penned code numbers at an upper corner and uneven cutting along one edge, suggesting that they were removed from a scrapbook-style index. When asked where these pieces came from, the consignor told the story of how Fleer's "archive" (laughing when he used the word) was just a monstrous assemblage of boxes stacked under a large stairwell. Over the years this pile grew to the point that the whole lower stairwell area was filled, blocking one of the principal fire exits for the building. The day eventually came when management was no longer willing to allow that door to be blocked. All of the employees were informed that they could take what they wanted before it was all hauled away. After a relatively quick perusal, the seller of these pieces took a few small gems that had caught his eye. Most of the things he salvaged were either comic book related or they were ad items that featured famous performers."

I'd like to believe that my "Cops & Robbers" badge came from this pile.
