Like the late Rodney Dangerfield,these cards get no respect. Some that come to mind,Daniel Boone,Captain Nice,Bewitched,Flipper and these below. Post 'em if you got 'em.

Nice stuff guys. As an aficionado of tough issues, I've often thought about going for a type collection of those 60's test cards. I think Kurt from the Wrapper has a complete (or maybe missing one card?) set of Flash Gordon. Only problem for me is that if I start buying 60's cards I'd have to change my eBay handle : )

besides the sets i have pictured i also had at one time the land of the giants, waltons, and hee haw, all since gone, sellers remorse for sure with those, .....mark- very nice bonanza card, very rare.....sorry for the duplication of a few... <img

Nice topic all---the B&W Superman brings back memories of that great 50'sTV show--imagine trying to put together a set with all 3 back variations?
Also have to agree the SIJ is among the best sets ever---very sharp artwork & blazing colors---the A&BC set is a nice alternative to the US test issue.
Finally, I also can't resist the 6 million dollar man, even if it was issued in 70's---afraid 6 mill. won't buy as much today---couple gallons gas & a months health insurance premiums maybe--

I think the Topps US POTA test set was the same as the set eventually issued, but with black borders instead of white. In other words it was the same set as the A&BC UK set, but in the slightly larger standard US size. The black borders show up softening very badly.
