Just picked this one up...what year/issue is this??? Also says "printed in England" on reverse.

Claude - I'm not the expert, but this card is from the Mars Attack set issued in the UK c. 1962

I just checked the PSA population reports and they show a 1964 Mars Attacks U.K.....is that what this is?? Did they really come out two years later??

It certainly looks like the A&BC Gum issue of Mars Attacks , maybe issued in 1965 .

A&BC, Topps's UK associate company, released the set here in 1965. They are the same cards as in the US, but slightly smaller, as was the norm at the time, and to be honest the colours on the UK set are rather flatter and less vibrant than the US version.

I have a short article about A&BC trading card company at the following address (an archive of older Wrapper articles), and it includes a complete index of all their non-sports issues. (They closed in the early 1970s, thanks to a law suit from Topps. It's all in the article.) Enjoy!
