Where are the salesman's samples?

You know, the 8.5 x 11" cards which the Nat. Chicle salesman pulled out of his valise, as he was convincing the shop owner to forego the Goudey card product in favor of his.
My imagination sees these large cards containing many miniturizations of the card set, and wrapper designs to facilitate a description of the product being offered.

The only salesman's samples I've seen were from Glenn Confections. They made small suitcases which contained samples of their gum mustaches and lips and stuff, some packages had cards. 1960ish I think.
