The Sweet Caporal Calendar/Memorandum card from 1890-1891. My edition of the ACC makes mentions this as...
"A Memorandum Card" (Calendar 1890-91) was probably an insert. See note after set T464. The only note after set T464 seems to be discussing that set. The note does mention seeing the Tobacco War book for details, but that may only reference the T464; and of course, the Tobacco War book is not one that I have.
I find this especially interesting though, because years ago my father put a notation on it as being an "N247?" (sic). However, in my later edition of the ACC, there isn't a set N247. My father doesn't remember where the basis of his note came from, and we can't find his earlier edition of the ACC.
So my question is... was this noted in early editions of the ACC as N247? And does the Tobacco War Book mention something about it? And what might you all surmise that Burdick meant when he said that is
was probably an insert? (seeing that all cards were inserts)
Thanks again,
Paul
