Anybody else go to the Allentown Paper Show last weekend? I was set up there with a friend. (First time setting up for me) It was a lot of fun and I picked up a few items I thought I would share some of them:
(I also got the Lindbergh Exhibit cards - see other thread)

you got a lotta stuff there..........guess no profits from that show, huh? Just pushed them back into stuff. Beautiful stuff in nice shape from the looks of it. Wish there was something around here like that. Will be going to National next week. Will blog from there!

Todd - Damn - nothing you bought is in my wheelhouse I have great memories of going to Allentown for the show. Many times Scott H. and I would leave before the sun was up. It was usually closer to famine than feast although I did make some great buys there. I'm a "paper" type guy and there was always plenty to look thru - the oft cherished pre-occupation of infirmed ephemera collectors. I always think of David Grimes (RIP) when I think of Allentown as I met him there......

This came in yesterday's mail:
I have very fond memories of David Grimes. He helped me complete my True Spy Stories set. A fantastic person and great collector. I wish he was still with us.

Paul--If anything non-baseball is mentioned it is only in passing. There is plenty of material to write about on Old Judge boxing cards, Old Judge non-US issues and Old Judge non-sports issues. That will have to wait for another time and, most probably, for another author.
Henry--I have never collected non-photographic Old Judge cards so I don't have that one.
