Very cool to see this set, it's always been one of my favorites.
Here is a picture of the Point Loma lighthouse that I took last year, about 100 years after that card came out. It looks just about the same now as it did then. I'm pretty sure it is still in use today. You can't really get up close to it, there is a fence around the place to block you from getting near.
The thing that I think is funny about the T77 Point Loma Lighthouse card is that there is a state park around the old Point Loma lighthouse that people often go visit. My kids all saw it on field trips from their schools. But the lighthouse that everyone goes to see is older than the one on this card. Nobody in San Diego pays any attention to the lighthouse on this card at all, even though it is well over 100 years old.
