There is a Baseball Globe playing card deck. Has anyone seen the non-sports deck?? I looked to see if PSA had graded any and didn't find any. They depict hollywood celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Clark Gable, Laurel & Hardy.
Thanks-

Here are some scans from the two decks I have....Steve McQueen, Charlie Chaplin, Marilyn Monroe, etc.... Does anyone have info on these? I found the baseball deck listed in the yearly guide.

Claude-
I used to collect the baseball set (there are several uncatalogued variations), and I have seen several nude decks as well, but I have never seen the set you show. The Ruth that is catalogued in the baseball standard catalog is part of a nonsports set that I have also never seen. Also, I believe the baseball set was issued over multiple years because there is a Drysdale Ace of Spades (in lieu of the more common Ken Harrelson) that most likely dates to 1968. I have no idea why Globe Imports is the name associated with these sets. These were distributed in vending machines I believe.

Here is a scan of the Babe Ruth...I had three of the non-sports decks (see the previous scan) and these are the Ruth's that were in each set. I am assuming the are from 1969 due to the date give in the yearly baseball card guide listing that set as 1969.
