When did you start getting them? By default, when you set up your search for a particular item, it will send you emails for 6 months, then stop. You can go in and change it for however long you want. I have a ton of searches saved so I never wanted to get 30+ emails from ebay. At the far right of the search on your My Ebay page you can sign up for emails for any search. Looks like the longest you can get emails at a time is 12 months. I guess after your time is up, you have to go back in and resubmit to get emails. Hope this helps.

Thanks David. But my searches are still all active. They even say the last time they were sent was on September 21st. Weird. Guess I'll have to ask EBay what is going on.

I talked to several people at EBay. They admit to having problems with their search engine and emails at the moment. Then I found several news articles that EBay is having a "huge" problem with searches at the moment.
For this and so many other reasons, I really wish someone would start up a competing auction site!

Alan,
I haven't noted any disruption in search emails. Every day, the inbox is littered with eBay emails of "We have found 941 matches, we hope these are exactly what you are looking for . . . " (Of course, when I then check the search for, say, "US Caramel McKinley card", the 941 'matches' are stuff like "Mt McKinley Hiker Souvenir Card", "McKinley's Wonderful Caramel Chews - bag of 1000 -- BIN!", etc.)

I still haven't received any Search emails since the 21st. I even added a couple of new searches for common stuff to see if that would work, but it didn't. It sure seems weird that some people are getting them and some aren't. I'm glad you guys are still getting yours though.
My main concern is actually for the items which I have up for sale at the moment. Obviously, it would really suck if people who might be interested in these cards aren't getting their search results and therefore don't know they are listed.

Alan,
My searches have been wacky the past few days. I have been getting them - but now I get 2 copies of them. Ebay has been changing formats of the search results and I noticed that they have been coming up in reverse order for me (I want to see newest first but they would come up as oldest first - which is pretty stupid to me. Why would I want searches to email me everyday so I can see old stuff?). Anyway, no matter what I do I can't get them to come up the way I want in the first place like they used to (I can resort but that takes an extra click and there are other things going on where you have to wait for the whole page to load or it doesn't work.)
Now I am getting 2 emails for my searches. One still doesn't work right while the other one does. My guess is they are trying to work out all these bugs.

Thanks Todd. The guy I talked to today seemed confident the problem would be solved soon (?). He also said I was in the system as one of the people who were experiencing problems. Confidence is not high here though.
