The Old Judge "Actresses" card on right is from the series N167 by Goodwin & Co. The series consists of over 60 subjects and was issued in 1886. There is an example in the Gallery section.

The other card is probably a trade issue because of it's small size.

DR, Looks like you have a good one. The G. Cleveland card is a very early (maybe the earliest) candy/gum issue; listed as E273 Political Candidates. I don't know anything about the company (G & B Chewing Gum). There is also a very scarce baseball issue (E223).

I stole the pic for Todd's website; hope that is ok?
I've only seen 1 other (Thurman).

The Old Judge is from the very first set produced by Goodwin. The value in EX/MT on the actress's from this set has gone up to about $150.00. There are also baseball cards that came from the same set that have been selling above $50,000 of late. The G & B is VERY rare. Anytime you'd like to sell it please let me know.

Thank you David, Chuck and Scott, I am not looking to sell but would consider a trade but do not want this thread to turn into a b/s/t post. Thanks again.

My other E273:

A follow-up thank you (David, Chuck & Scott) for the info.

The Cleveland encapsulated SGC A as well as the N167.

The Thurman wasn't encapsulated due to back paper loss.

Goody OJ also wasn't encapsulated due to a lack of data:

Any additional information on the Goody would be awesome.

Thank you!
