Hello Everyone. I recently traded for a Turkey Red Automobile series card that I have a question about. If someone could give me more information on the card and the set, I would appreciate it. Forgive me in advance for the silly questions as I don't collect non-sports. The back of the card has a stamp saying packer no. 208. Was the card actually stamped at the factory ? My mother told me my great grand father was the first Pope Hartford car dealer in Worcester, Mass. Thank you for any information.

Scroll to American Tobacco in the reference below, and there is some information about the set.

This set was issued in early 1910 by the American Tobacco Company. If you check the Gallery in this website under 1910-1920s T's, T37 Automobile Series, you'll see pictures of all fifty automobiles.

The stamps are from the factory where they packed the cards in with the cigarettes. Most of my backs also have stamps from many different packer numbers.
