I know that both the Strange True Stories & Ripley's BION sets were made by Wolverine Gum.
Can anyone tell me why both STS & the BION high numbers are so scarce? I would guess because so few were made, but what is the reason for the small print run.
Also are STS cards scarcer than BION high numbers?
And the last question would be: Are the values of the cards comparable?
Any help would be appreciated.

These cards, and the others which you have recently inquired about are a part of popular sets. As such, the demand for these cards are higher than those "scarcities" from less popular sets. Although the number of "scarce" cards actually in existence for these more popular sets may not actually be low.
? does that make sense ?
I wonder how many individual cards of each cited group are estimated to exist:
1. G-Men & Heroes Of The Law "Impossible Five"
2. 1937 Ripley's BION high numbers (25 to 48)
3. 1939 War News Pictures "Dirty Dozen" (109 to 120)
4. 1941 Home Defense high numbers (121 to 144)
And for comparison, an estimate of the cards in existence for a less popular, somewhat rare set or group of cards; such as Switzer’s Little Henry (R82), Card-O Navy Aircraft Squadron Insignia (R112-7), or any other of many examples?
