I fear Minute Biographies will never be finished. Tom Boblitt sent one
just a couple days ago. Remember, every ONE counts, as they seem to be
very scarce.
The "Fun Page" this week and next will be the Star-Cal decals,
supposedly issued 1952/53. I always thought the blue and red envelopes
were issued two different years. Then I found the display pieces, which
showed the two colors together.
The Movie Stars "panel of six" webpage is a bit perplexing. I "lost" one
image somehow. I will have to search my two "dead" PCs hard-drives some
day.
The Hess Athletes is another gorgeous set sent by Mike Reeve from Gr. Britain.
I love working with webpage images like these. The Hess sets of actors and
actresses are stunning also, but I don't think we have enough collectors
that could produce webpages.
This is the last week for Action Gum. It will be replaced by a few weeks
of War News Pictures, a truly deserving set for weekly releases. After
War News Pictures ends Uncle Sam will be showcased.
Thanks, once again to the contributors of images and the "editors". It's nice
to know support is just an email away.
One last thank you. Horrors of War keeps rolling along six cards each week
thanks to Roger Nisly. He somehow keeps me going (I dislike doing HOW)
week after week. Thanks Roger ! Oh, yes, Mark Finn has come through week
after week to scan and send any HOW missing image(s).
Enjoy these "early" Sunday Releases.
