Looking for lawyers - Disney webpages !? November 7 2008 at 2:17 PMNo score for this post

(Login DanCalandriello ) Since we are working on a Disney Mickey Mouse R89 webpage,
a set of 96 cards, I have to ask the resident lawyers whether
any issues come into play. Disney seems to be very guarded
when it comes to their products.
Is this simply a common sense thing, whereas the passing of time,
and this new era of webpages/internet, that showing previously
copyrighted images is acceptable ?

I posted, in another thread, about Disney Joinies, and see
there is something like "patent (numbers)" on each card.

Not a lawyer, but there is such a think as being unable to profit twice from the same sale. So, for example, if you are wearing a Dallas Cowboy sweatshirt on TV, the Cowboys can't chanrge you again from using the item.
They received their royalties from the original sale already. Plus you aren't profiting.
