During the 1920's bread companies issued several sets of cards printed on thin paper that had preprinted invisible coloring and you would just use a wet brush to bring out the colors as if by magic.
Most of the sets had 50 different pictures (that's a lot of bread!). Here are a few examples from some of the series:
