I'm not familiar with these cards but based on what I see in the ACC it appears that the card to the left in your scan(s) is from the V42 Canadian set entitled "Children's Pictures" issued in the 1920's by J.S. Fry & Sons. According to the ACC, there are 50 cards in a set.
Hope this helps.

Hmmmmm.... good point Chuck. If the back of the card has the wording "Imperial Tobacco Co.", then C6 is probably correct as the C series are tobacco issues. The V series are for candy and gum cards. So I'm not sure which is correct C6 or V42.... may need to see a scan of the back of the card.

If it has "Children of All Nations" at the top and "Issued by the Imperial Tobacco Company of Canada, Limited" at the bottom, and is #24 (which I suspect to be the case here), then it's definitely a "C6" in the ACC. I have the set - it's fairly common & frequently found as a complete set of 50.

Yup, you described the back, C6 it is. I also have a Holland #18. Do Ogden's have ACC numbers? Anyone have a scan of the aforementioned Franklyn Davey card?
