Fun with The Wrapper cartoon parodies

I was asked us to reprint some of our old Monsterwax parody promos in The Wrapper. However, since I frown on all things "reprint", I decided to post them on-line instead, to satisfy the request without actually recycling. (I swore not to reprint the cards, so why reprint the gags?) I had enough fun putting them together, I decided to make some new ones as well.

I don't know that these parodies ever actually SOLD anything, but they were fun to read again! They originally appeared in The Wrapper as far back as 1999, so only dedicated old-timers actually saw them all. If you missed a few, now's your chance to climb into the Wayback Machine and see most of them in Cyberspace. If you want clean paper copies, you can still order many of the back issues from Les and The Wrapper. (Each issue number and date is listed along with the parody image.)

Enjoy!

By the way, if you want to read the about the original motivation for these parodies, you can do so at:

Well I certainly can't out-do Parody Promos. Then again, I am not too proud to flaunt reprints. With that in mind, here is the dreaded sneak preview of next month's Wrapper, which is, part one all about Eclipse Enterprises.
Below, we find one of my assistants displaying a collage of cards from the Coup D'Etat set:
