There is a "hit" counter at The Gallery which increases when a person visits.
The current hit count is approx 5,200

As we found out early on, it isn't 100% correct; it adds a one
if a person hits "refresh/reload" on the main page.

However, some months ago, the company that controls the counter had
a terrible computer problem...our hit count was just over 8,000.

After being down for 10-14 days, it came back up...but with a hit count
of something close to 1,000.

Not a big deal, as the counter is slightly wrong anyway.
But it is somewhat of an indicator and will be around for awhile.
