Was looking for stuff and poked around in my odds/ends boxes and refound some cards I got in larger lot that I think strip cards from 1947. That's my guess as the UN flag is the 1947 version (ratified 8/47), but the India flag is pre-independence (8/47). So likely summer of '47 as manufacturer on top of the UN news, but not India news? The other sets were in same lot, so thinking same time frame; all blank backed w/'album paper' still stuck to most backs.
Anyone familiar with these? Maybe not strip cards, but cut from sheet of cards?
The flags are in alphabetical order so missing all above 37 and assume there was US flag; and missing some of the war cards; who knows how many college pennants might be.

Mike, I think those are all from cereal boxes. I will try to post some more info later this evening. I have a few complete box backs that will show you how they were issued.
