After about a year and half, I've completed the 1934 R78 Jungle Chewing Gum set. Thanks to all the folks on the board who sold/donated cards and most importantly for your insights on this fun set.

Last card acquired- Flying Fox # 25

Top ten toughest cards to find: Toucan, Flying Fox, Anteater, Polar Bear, Bald Eagle, Sea Elephant, Walrus, Elephant, Lion, Kangaroo

Approximately 95% of this set was completed with cards purchased on Ebay.

Adam - I think I bid against you for that Flying Fox yesterday on eBay - sorry about that! Congratulations on finishing, it's a great little set.

Thanks guys.

Tom-

I'm not really sure were to go next Non-Sports-wise. I'm about 50% on the R174 World War Gum set, but the cards are not nearly as common as the R78's and decent condition WWG's, (especially 49 thru 96), are difficult to come by. Vintage baseball has been a bit of a pleasent distraction lately as well.

Geoff-

No worries. I got the Flying Fox for quite a bit less than I thought I would. After waiting a while for the last two to pop up, I figured they were probably going to cost me. Upgrading won't be cheap I'm sure.
