Toy and Collectible shows

New England was ripe with
Toy Shows, Collectible Shows and Paper/Ephemera/Post Card Shows.

Much of my collection came from those venues.

Other rich areas were the antique coop shops. It always amazed me to find
1910 baseball/nonsports cards in those shops.

Brimfield, Mass and an area in PA were also another good collecting resourses.
(I wish someone would comment on those two areas).

The PA area flea market I refer to was close to Lancaster PA, I think.

Post card shows of today can unearth old tobacco cards, tobacco albums
and tobacco trade cards.

Also, I'd love to know if anyone has attended a large Comic Book Show/Convention
to hear what was available. I went to the NYC show a year ago and found nothing
in the way of 1930-1969 NS collectibles.
