Anyone else notice lately on eBay and likely elsewhere 1950s - 1960s non sports O-Pee-Chee Printed in Canada cards are being listed and sold as Topps (U.S.)? Perpetuating the problem is PSA mistakenly grading and registering the cards under Topps (U.S.) vs. O-Pee-Chee. Major and minor online sellers are listing Topps in the title with no mention of Printed in Canada or OPC. Some know better while others likely do not. I bought a Batman Black Bat card from a seller not posting a reverse image. I have received OPC Batman, Man on the Moon and others expecting Topps U.S. It is very frustrating and could only hurt interest in 1950s - 1960s graded cards, making them harder to sell! Please be extra cautious because most I assume are not even aware of this issue. Any thoughts?

There was one not long ago who advertise Topps King Kong 1965 they were actually Donruss cards I emailed the seller early in the listing so he could make correction - no answer no correction.
The things is Topps cards are a rare test issue (around $200 a card) while Donruss are very common and sell for about $10.00 a card.
We see more and more misrepresentation, accidental or on purpose, who knows.

The data entry people at PSA and graders are not one in the same. After the cards are graded, someone experienced should proof the card specs. for these obvious errors before they ship, saving PSA money in the long run. (Old time) dealers with antiquated loose grading double standards keep PSA and SGC in business.

Another set to watch out country of origin is the 1966 Foldees issue. I have four or five printed in Canada mixed in with the balance of my printed in USA set and they were sold to me with no Canadian reference. After replacing those, I'll probably build a Canadian set, too but it is frustrating at times.
