The 1953 Quaker Oats set is a mystery I am trying to unravel. I'll start by posting scans of No. 35 from the 1953 Parkhurst set and then the comparable Quaker Oats No. 35.

The NSB does not mention the Quaker Oats set and states that the Parkhurst cards have a blank back variation, which I believe is incorrect. My theory is that all blank backs are Quaker Oats cards.
Speculation has it that the Quaker Oats set has either 48 or 50 cards in it (Exact No. is unknown). The highest number that I am aware of in the Quaker Oats set is 46.
An elderly Canadian collector, who I know, has only 12 Quaker Oats cards after many years of searching (He also has a complete 1937 Wolverine BION set & 1953 Parkhurst set). The highest No. Quaker Oats card he has is No. 43. He has never seen a blank back Parkhurst BION card
So as an incentive - I will give a graded PSA5 HOW low number common to the first person who posts a scan of a 1953 Quaker Oats BION card numbered 51 or higher.
Any info at all will be highly appreciated.
