E181 in the Gallery says Heisel Gum, but is sepia.

Can anyone give this set a true title, a true ACC designation
and a correct number of cards in the set ?

Is the set blank-backed ?

Tom and I emailed once about this series - based on the cards I've seen, I believe 10 cards make up this set:

No. Card Party Affiliation

1 Benjamin Harrison Republican P
2 Levi P. Morton Republican VP
3 Grover Cleveland Democrat P
4 Allen S. Thurman Democrat VP
5 Gen. C. B. Fisk Prohibition P
6 Rev. John A. Brooks Prohibition VP
7 A. J. Streeter Union Labor P
8 Charles E. Cunningham Union Labor VP
9 Robert Hall Cowdery United Labor P
10 W. H. T. Wakefield United Labor VP

I've never seen a Cowdery or Cunningham, but given a card exists of their running mate, logic suggests these cards should exist. Dan, I'll send you a scan of my Wakefield for the gallery - that will give you all 8 known subjects.

p.s. I think most know this, but the cards aren't actually numbered - I just listed them in descending order of each party's popular vote in the 1888 election, since that made sense to me.
