Reviewing the French cards versus the US cards; it would be my conclusion that these were licensed to Globo by Gum, Inc.
- The card images are identical (with some slight color changes).
- The color of the Ampersands are the same.
- With the exception of the 4 cards below, the placement of the copyright is the same.
For the 72 card series, there are 48 Yellow ampersand cards and 24 Red ampersand cards (related to the 24 card sheets).
For the French 48 yellow ampersand cards, the numbers are fairly consistent with the US numbers: (40 identically numbered) 1-24, 26, 29, 33, 36, 40, 42, 44, 47, 50, 53, 55, 58, 62, 65, 69, & 72. French cards 31, 34, 35, 37, & 41 do not have a US card issued with those numbers. This leaves 3 cards; French numbers 25, 28, & 39. French 25 is the same as US 74 (could the American Indian on US card 25 be the reason that that image was not used?). French 28 is the same as US 77 (US card 28 is one of the rare Low Skips). French 39 is the same as US 93 (I don't understand why US 39 was not used).
For the French 24 red ampersand cards; with the exception of cards 56, 60, 63, & 67; all of the images are from different US numbered cards.

By the way, I still need 2 ( 1 & 14 ) of these to finish my set & I'd gladly trade 5 others for either of the 2 I need.
