R714-6 and R714-7 ------ "other early Topps sets"

When I post a request for help, I steady myself for failure.
Collectors just don't have time for scanning.
===========================================================================
I have been a fanatic at collecting Goudey items, and I am sure there are
similar collectors of early Topps cards and memorabilia.
===========================================================================
I would love to start with two different 100 card Topps sets, front and backs.
(that's 400 images, folks).

The two sets are approx 1949 -------- R714-6 and R714-7.

R714-6 had the PARADE wrapper and had a flag on one side and information on the other.

R714-7 had a flag on one side and a only a soldier on the other.
============================================================================
As I say, I doubt these two sets will ever have a web page, but, on the other
hand, it could be the beginnings of some super Topps "early" web pages.

from Bill Christensen....

I thought there would be many more contributors,
as this era (late 40s , eatly 50s) is a favorite of many.

Dan,

I just got a partial set of 44 of the R714-7's. It will take me a while, but I will scan and e-mail them to you.

Bear with me though, it will take me a couple of weeks as things are really busy at the moment.

Daniel....thank you....Mark Finn will be scanning approx
10-20 a day until all of his are uploaded. At that point,
and when you have time, you can scan your "needed" R714-7s

The R714-7 was checklisted at 94, but Mark has five new
undocumented cards....He is painstakingly inserting them
so that 1-99 will be shown in alpha order.

If the 100th card does appear, we will somehow adjust.

=====================================================
The R714-6 is checklisted at 100, so there won't be a
problem identifying them.

I picked up 40+ R714-6s a month ago for the purpose of
helping out with webpages and will see what is needed,
after the dust is settled

=====================================================
I see there could be help from PSA collectors, and am
crossing my fingers.

It would be super to show both these sets.......Complete....
