There have been many posts where collectors have come forward to share
"unseen" cards, albums, boxes, etc from their collections.

Let's recall those that made us say "wow, what an amazing item"

I think Ralph Perry did a great service by posting the original images/prints
that Indian Gum got their start.

Mark is the only know collector of "all variations" G-men.

He shared the information that allowed a superb G-men web page.

======================================================
He also sent images for the "Soda" cards, Dwight and Church Arm & Hammer.

The web pages at the Gallery had no information prior to his postings/emals.

I started the tobacco leathers and tobacco silks postings.

It was an untouched area before my postings.

===============================================
Indian Gum premiums. After much controvery, I finally created a web page,
posting it so others would finally see what I felt was the real IG print
premiums.
===============================================
Cops and Robbers evidence cards. I think I was the first to post them,
although separated from the original card, they were the highlight of the day,
when posted.
===============================================
Ray-o-Prints....after Les wrote about needing articles, I pulled my
true Ray-O-Print KITS. I will await his email as to whether I should
post and make a webpage or create a webpage AFTER a Wrapper article.
===============================================
The "Goudey Find" postings....well, I'm proud that I was able to show
the ephemera I had in my collection andmy memories
===============================================
The Gum Inc Wild West #25 letter. Another "one of a kind" item....
I shared it for the good of all.
=======
and there is more

Bill is responsible for 90% of the tobacco album page images, a well as
1000s of card images from his collection.

He has motivated the creation of webpages many, many times.

Don has shared many uncut sheet images and is very much the
reason the Novel candy webpages finally got created.

His sharing of Hollowell cards made us all sit back and smile.

My FAVORITE web page effort came about because of Don posting
of Radio Gum, R196

And let's not forget Don's postings of Pirate Pictures....wow.

....started my webpage day at 5am....very tired, but will mention other
collectors special postings later today.

I hope, with all the amazing posts of the past, there will be others that
continue to add to this thread.

...think tobacco...think cigarette.....think Canadian....think UK.....

I definitely give kudos to Dan for enlightening everyone on the Indian Gum premium issue. I've learned a lot from Henry, Tom and Eric about 19th century stuff from their postings and comments. Ralph and Mark Finn always make great contributions to a variety of 30's threads. I enjoy Jerry's updates on his pursuit of some of my favorite sets. Even though Jim C, Bill Bengen, Marty, Rand, etc and I live in somewhat different worlds when it comes to grading cards, I do find their posts interesting and read them carefully. Finally, I think Don and Jim certainly have given us the widest variety of unknown and unusual items. I hope they can work out their differences as they are at the top when it comes to undiscovered stuff. I know I have forgotten many other good folks whose names will come to me as soon as I hit the "Respond" button, but please forgive me as I'm only half way through my first coffee.

Dan's US Caramel President scans (McKinley, cancellations, etc.) were eye-poppers.

Mark's mini-exhibition of vintage US cards and their foreign cousins was among my favorites.

And though I don't send my cards in for grading, I will always love seeing pristine vintage cards, so the postings of same by the likes of Bill Bengen, Mighty Marty, Rand and so many others are a joy.

And last, but not least, those image cavalcades whenever Todd hits paydirt at his secret flea markets are heart-stoppers! As one keeps scrolling down the screen, seemingly endlessly, it makes you want to jump in the car and go find an antique mall somewhere, anywhere, and try your luck!

I've left out many others, but will rely on more of you to mention them . . .
