If anyone has any JRS original art they'd like to sell, I'd be very interested in purchasing an example or two. You can send me an e-mail at aaron1050@aol.com if you can help!

I love those ice people pictures (#59). They are blue skinned, because of the very cold temperatures they live in, and yet, their ears are flesh colored. When I stood out in the sub zero cold as a kid, it was always my ears that got frost-bitten and turned blue first! I guess these aliens are strange indeed!

I just took a look at all 108 cards in the JRS set, and there's not one woman pictured on any of the cards. Hundreds of human men, plenty of alien men, but no women, human or alien!

Yes, there are no women in JRS, but there are lots of men men men! Men with bushy mustaches, men in skin-tight shorts, shirtless swordfighting men, men in flowing capes, men in fur-fringed robes, men in big phallic rocket ships, men on flying unicorns, pirate men, iron-men....
I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.....the most fascinating and underdiscussed aspect of this great set is the, let's say, strong underlying subtext.

How about "Rev your Jets and Blast your Rockets, it's gay Space Men!"
Wait a sec, I just noticed another PC infraction: There are no people of color included (except blue and green). Where was Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when we needed them most?
