My first non sport mail day!

Got these two off forum member Marty K at a great price. LOOOOVE the Old Planter. I come from sports card collecting, and the Topps retro themed A&G set uses the Old Planter in its advertising, so it was an image I was very familiar with and enjoyed. That retro set is what got me interested in vintage A&G. Why buy modern Topps "A&G" when you can get the real thing?! happy.gif

Great example of the modern "shiny stuff" being a gateway to vintage cards. Congrats and welcome!

I remember when I joined the Ephemera Society of America and did my first trade with Ed Banks. I watched the mail like a hawk for a week and then carried the cards around with me for another week. Best of luck in your collecting pursuits Jamie!!!
