Burdick has E283 As Wings Gum Wrappers, Numbered

I found the following auction on ebay........
http://cgi.ebay.com/Scarce-1930s-Wings-Chewing-Gum-Wrapper-Airplanes-NR_W0QQitemZ280385102077QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item41484120fd&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

BUT.....this is a Canadian company.....

Is this the E283 Wings Gum Wrapper or is there another?

I seem to remember someone posting some green-tinted Wings Gum wrappers but the search function for this forum is lackluster......

Anyone with details/scans/etc?

At this point, I don't know....V250/R186 came from an email....

Burdick's Wings Gum "E" could easily be correct, but I don't have anything to go on.

I think Don Hayes posted a "Story of Wings" wrapper, much like these..

.....saga continues....

Tom: These are the Canadian version of the American Chicle issue (the American ones are hard to find). I think the American version has an R number...I'm at work and my brain is not what it used to be, but if you have Benjamin's white guide handy he describes them in there.

Tom, I got home to my reference material. These are V250, the Canadian version of R186, Famous Aircraft.
