Happy Birthday Les, 59 today (for the umpteenth time!)

Happy Birthday Les! If the New York Times is the Old Gray Lady of newspapers, than you must be the Old Gray Gentleman of non-sports!

Keep on keeping on. I predict you and your rag -er- MAG- will last a lot longer than the Times (and most the other daily papers). And I don't mean till just next year!

All kidding aside, Happy Birthday and many happy returns. You give a lot of us something to look forward to every month and keep our hobby chugging along!

Hey Les -

Happy 38th anniversary of your 21st birthday!

Although you perhaps may only feel about VG+, at best, you'll always be Gem Mint in our book!

Long live The Wrapper -

Ralph

If Les is only 59, then I'm only 51. Happy B-Day from one of your loyal 'buds'.

Hey Les, happy birthday! Mine was yesterday, but I arrived a few years after you did. Many happy returns to you and to the Wrapper (as it rolls along to issue #300).

Happy Birthday to you too, Chuck.

I was thinking today about all the people I know who were born in September. LOTS of them! Then I thought, Hmmm, nine months back from now would have been Christmas time, when it's cold and people have time off to snuggle. I wonder if there's any connection?

NAH!

Thanks Kurt. For people like me and Les, born at the beginning of September, it may have more to do with tryptophan-induced passion after Thanksgiving turkey dinner. End of September birthdays might be holiday snuggling or maybe New Years eve carousing.
