Not a great set by any means (my opinion) but interesting nevertheless, I'm trying to find a checklist, I know there is 2 sets known with that name one made in 1949 (Magic Photo) and one in 1956, PSA has one on the registry but it is only for the 18 baseball players.

Here's a couple links-the checklist is still not complete for the smaller cards and mixed up in many places between the two issues. I am trying to confirm each of the larger cards still.
First thank you for those links, secondly I feel I just open a can of worms, from what I could gather reading the posts there is 3 set that could be intermixed in older checklists
1) 1949 Magic Photos (don't have Hocus Focus on the card but used the same wrapper).
2) 1955 Hocus Focus (smaller size than the 1956 issue and much rarer, believed to be a bigger set).
3) 1956 Hocus Focus (larger card not so rare but checklist still incomplete).
I guess my database will have another few sets with incomplete checklist.

I think the Magic Photo list is OK, the problem is between small and large issues of Hocus Focus. I also think there is a slight possibility the small cards are 136 in number as there is evidence each subgroup of smalls has five more cards than in the large set.
