You mean R152,don't do it Henry. Not until I complete my set happy.gif. Seriously,it's a great set of 25 cards. The cards are a bit thicker but high grade examples aren't that easily found. Even putting the set together in low grade would be a challenge to complete. You have to actually hold one in your hand to really appreciate the bold colors they possess. One thing I have noticed is that not all cards seem to be equally available. I've seen the same title for sale/auction 40-50 times while a few others have only become available 4-5 times. I say go for it,besides it's about time you break out of that 19th century arena happy.gif. If condition isn't that important to you,I'll send you one to get the ball rolling then only 24 to go!

Henry, this is a great set & my 14 year old daughter's favorite. Tough to get in any condition but well worth collecting.

Henry, I don't collect the set so here is an unbiased opinion. I love the cards and agree with Richard 100% on the availability on about three of them. They seldom come up for sale while others repeatedly will. High grades aren't often found but once in a while, they will. The card board is thicker than normal and you got to love the 'dog act' card.

Henry, go for it! Tootsie is one of the all-time classics. Beautiful and fun.
(And, as is often the case with addictive substances, the first taste is free . . . . thanks to Richard!)

all the replies...... It's the color/graphic thing that excites me on these - just sumptin about them.... Still contemplating as vg/x would be a must and unsure exactly when I'll pull the trigger for the first one - as a dollar devoted here is a dollar less available. It feels like the time may soon be right - especially since I'm getting ready to list a few hundred things..... In any event - Richard - I must decline your ever so generous and excellent offer - at least for now...... I MAY have an addictive personality and it would just get me into more trouble than I'm already in happy.gif

Henry, you can see from my sign-in logo that I love this set. It is definitely in my top three. The only thing I can add to the great comments above is that you will particularly love the cards when they are in nice condition. They are certainly among the most beautiful of all trading cards. Here are a few to tempt you.

i do not collect this set (yet). i have always enjoyed the cards from afar. one thing i would like to mention is that its a nice thing that all 25 cards are available and there wasnt a "strongman" to keep the set from completion. i understand it will be a tough challenge to get all 25, but at least its possible.

ps. i am a type card collector as well. if anyone has an extra card, please let me know as i would love to add it to the rest of my single card collection. i have things to trade.
