Mark, am hoping there will be some discussion on this, so here's a bump.
This is a bit confusing as the eBay listing is (intentionally?) a bit difficult to understand clearly. Perhaps written JUST cleverly enough so that folks can interpret what the guy is saying in a couple different ways.
Did he actually produce the card himself, or did somebody else print it up and he acquired it, or what? Was this bonafide, unreleased and unused artwork or an approximation of same? Where is the artwork from? And so forth.
CWN is one of my favorite sets, as for many of us who were kids of the 1960s, so there would be incredible demand for genuine unissued cards if from Topps' printing press, from back then.
Current day new reprints of unprinted cards . . . well . . . not so much, I think, Not even sure what that is.

I beleive that the seller is producing the cards . In the last couple of weeks they've sold a high quality copy of the checklist plus they've produced a card 89 . This card (89) did contain an image that has been sold as unpublished CWN art work .
Hey Mark, I don't know anything about this but I can vouch for RACHFAL Ent.
They have had some really super nice rare items over the years.
Uncut FULL Hee Haw Test sheet etc.

I'm not trying to put them (rachfal) in the spotlight , i've no doubt they are an honest enterprise and have nothing to do with the so called new cards coming out of the UK .
I'm just tracing the history of the image that the UK guy is/was using to produce his new Civil War cards .

Yo Mark,
I gotcha...I did not mean to infer that you were calling them out. I re-read the thread and my post was not needed.
Sorry bout that my friend.

Hi Charley , no problem this side . In fact it was good of you to come on and stick up for them as I wouldn't like to think that the good folk at Rachfel thought that i was implying anything against them .
Calling all cars ..JA #2 .
