That is a great book, you won't be disappointed. Pictures of just about every set, most black and white but some color. I've been reading it again for fun, lots of new things to discover every time you look at it.

To buy an extra, cut it up and scan it into a PDF which I have with me all the time on my iPhone and iPad......hopefully I didnt invalidate my warranty by doing that........between Bobs book and the ACC, both are invaluable tools......

of someone cutting up such a great book as this one.... Tom, you have definitely invalidated the warranty on that copy!! It's a good idea, however, much as it pains me to say.
I also have a very beaten copy, marked with corrections, updates & notes. Most are additions rather than changes & I feel pretty good that we got most of it correct the first time. Most of the errors are errors of omission where we didn't have complete information at the time of publication (for example, at the time the highest number T90 I'd seen was 25 - subsequently I've seen up to 30). I'd love to do an update some day, but right now I still have to get my other book done before I start working on something like that.

I have been dabbling in tobacco cards lately, and on the basis of what you all have said, I just "bought it now" on Ebay. I'm looking forward to having Bob's book in the library, and expect that it will deepen my appreciation and enjoyment of these cards. Thanks - Jack
