hadn't seen the Kinney or Mayo pieces before. OJ - no idea if it's the first - Jay the resident expert on the series has quite a few I believe. I'll play with a few I probably have shown. Most of mine aren't easily photographed so until I get it together........

Henry, great stuff, I hope to get my cigarette box collection in picture-sharing form soon. Perhaps after looking it over you'll find you have a box or two I need and maybe a trade...

I have a Kinney Bros. "Special Favours" dance print like the one you posted. I have spent several years Looking for some info on mine. I was beginning to think I had the only one left:) Do you know when it was printed?

Kinney Advertising

Dan,

Thanks for posting your question.

The Kinney advertising piece was probably produced sometime between 1890 - 1900. The brand "Special Favours" was prominent in their advertising during that decade. It was likely a premium or store display. I'm sure others with more knowledge will chime in soon.
