Hey guys,

Ok, what's the deal with these? I've always enjoyed T80s and have picked up many groups of them over the years. Had a few Cairo backs here and there and many Uzits along with the common backs.

But...where are the Old Mill backs? Just how tough are these bad boys?

Interesting that the scarcity of the Old Mills don't match up with the T206 Old Mills which are relatively easy to find.

Anyone have any Old Mill T80s?

I just completed my set a couple weeks ago, and over the course of finishing it, I've obtained two Uzits, two Cairo Monopols and one Lenox. The rest of the cards, including 19 duplicates, are all Tolstois. No Old Mills in the bunch; and I've never even seen an Old Mill backed T80.

Bumping an old thread as I missed it...

"Old Mill was tough too, my examples came from
Australia." So says Dan Koochin(sp)...don't know if Dan is still around here or not? I think he had a website with t80 coverage.

Well, they apparently exist.

Two ten-card lots of Old Mills just sold on ebay tonight for $208.05 and $172.50. I was outbid on both sad.gif

Yep, I was the underbidder on the first lot. My snipe on the second lot (which I liked more) was a lot higher but I deleted it figuring it was pointless after the first one.

I agree with you egb...

I liked the foreign card lot (#2) better than the other one also. After seeing the price the first one went for (I didn't really go hard for it), I wasn't too hopeful, but decided to try anyway. I ended up as the underbidder on lot #2.

Hi guys,

Yeah, I was very surprised to see this many together after not seeing even one for so long.

So surprised that I had to win both lots. I'd be happy to share though.

Also, wanted to let T80 collectors know that a friend of mine has a very cool Blank Backed T80.

Just one more toughie to add to your want list if you're into the blank backs.

An interesting post on the baseball forum on the T80s. Anyone have any to share?
