OFF TOPIC - Knowing what Net54 visitors like.......help me....

I rarely know who enjoys the time/effort to show
non-card issues. The Seein Stars color half-pages seemed
to get decent response, but I wonder how many simply
looked upon it as NON-nonsports.

Anyway, here is the reason for this post ......

=========================================================

Thanks to Ebay, I will have 43 of 48 Tom Mix booklets.
I think they could make for enjoyable reading for some
collectors/lurkers....via Net54 postings.

I just don't want to waste time if they aren't enjoyed.

It's never been done before. I realize that if I do scan
the full booklets, I will be decreasing their value.
I also know that if they are graded, the original intent
(storyline) will be lost...never enjoyed by those that
don't collect the set.

So, send an email.....don't waste posting space.....
as to whether you'd like to see the inner booklets
or that it's a wasted effor.

If it's a waste, tell me via email what you'd like to see
in the future.
Thanks danster-nj@comcast.net

I do have many Tom Mix booklets, so I could start scanning days
before the "43 of 48" arrive.......but only if I know I
am not wasting time.

Dan

I know response isn't always what it should be here, but I'm just seeing
this now, so I suspect others will catch up with this in the next day or so.
Anyhoo...
I'd love to see the inside stories, as I've only read the few I have.
Thanks for giving us all the opportunity.
It is, even if silently some times, greatly appreciated.

Dan this groups is all all groups and organizations - 10% of the people do 90% of the work.

As for the Tom Mix booklets, I have no interest, but that is probably because I've never seen one - inside or out. But let me add, there are a lot of sets that I've become interested in simply becasue there was a webpage to look at.

As far as new webpages go, I'm all for creating as many new pages as you can. I even think we sould expand our Canadian pages and some of the other foreign card sets. I know it is opening a can of worms to start talking about foreign card sets, but some are very nicely done and interesting.
