Going way back in the auction history (9 years may not seem like a long time, but there aren't too many auction houses that maintain their previous auction catalogs that far back in a searchable format, let alone with original images), the aforementioned Mastro auction listing from 2002:

Catalog Description: Gum, Inc.'s Mickey Mouse cards are among the most enchanting and avidly-collected 1930's cards in the hobby, and the cards' collateral items (such as wrappers and albums) are acknowledged scarcities subject to tremendous demand. Offered is an original display box for the series, the first we have seen, and an item so rare that the various non-sports price guides have never even had an example to use for illustration. This empty two-part box, measuring 6-1/2" x 13" x 1-1/2" and featuring a gum-chewing image of Mickey on the top and sides, is a bright and substantial showpiece. Contributing to the low survival rate of this fabulous box's counterparts are the fragility of the lid and the high count of 1-cent packs (100) that once resided within. The lids were likely discarded as soon as these boxes were opened for sale, and retailers didn't need to order as many boxes of a product that contained such a large supply. (An interesting historical symbol, of the times during which Mickey Mouse cards were produced, is seen above Mickey's ear on the box's lid. A 7/16"-tall eagle graphic, surrounded by the legend 'NRA - We Do Our Part,' indicated Gum, Inc.'s support of the government's National Recovery Administration as the nation emerged from the Great Depression.) This potential centerpiece, of any advanced Disney or gum card display box collection, exhibits light writing at the left side and isolated surface faults on the delicate surface. Condition is at an attractive and satisfying Very Good level. An exclusive, virtually never-offered collectible, from a non-sports card set with a high degree of crossover appeal for Disney and Americana enthusiasts.
