1966 topps batman wrapper question about real photos

i have both the batman and robin rare blue wrapper and the repeating bat wrapper.
does anyone know why topps made two kinds of wrappers for this set?

Isn't the repeating bat wrapper for the "B Series" Batman cards, or are you talking about something else?

yes they used the same wrapper for both b series aka blue bat set and real photos aka bat laffs

I thought this wrapper

To the best of my knowledge, Claude and Lance are correct.

Slacker - Have you opened a pack with the repeating bat wrapper that has Bat Laffs cards inside? If you have, maybe TOPPS was clearing out overstocks and had leftover Bat Laffs cards and repeating bat wrappers that were used together just to get rid of them. Just a theory on my part.

A great set, but I like the Riddler Packs even better than the real photos. The backs to that set (and the decoder) are pretty clever! (Fiendishly clever!)

nope i've never opened a pack once they're graded and slabbed by psa and gai.

yeah monsterwax i love the riddler series, i'm kicking myself for passing on full wax box in 2011.
