Sorry for the interruption guys, and hopefully Tom won't mind one thread, but I want to alert all of the baseball Net54baseball members that our hosting company has been down for the last 7 hours and counting. This is by far the longest they have ever been down. Global Gold is the hosting company and they are out of the UK. I think I have found a new hosting company to go to but this one has to get us back up first. A change will take a few days and be next week too. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will be back up. We kept the old Network54 baseball account and I have been paying for a premium membership all along, so it is current but the site is locked (my doing). It's still active here at Network54 but I would sort of hate to go back to it. The new S/W is pretty nice but not if it's not up!! Thanks for letting me rant. best regards....

Yourealwayswelcometolet people here know and post something. You might make a post about it and let everyone know to look here for news while it's down. Think we could keep a single thread going till you're back up again.

Thanks Tom. I don't want to encroach too much on your fine board. I did get a message from our hosting company that they are completely moving data centers and this was a planned outage. The first thing I heard of it was after we had been down for 12 hours though. I am not sure how long it will be but thank God it's not even worse. I had thoughts that the whole data center could have taken some kind of hostile missile hit or something .

The site came back up a little bit ago. Not sure if I will move hosting companies but I might. That amount of downtime was totally unacceptable, especially unannounced. best regards

Leon, glad to see things back up and running. I was getting antsy not being able to tune in to all the bickering posts (kind of like missing my stories!) but I'm very glad to hear that all was not lost. I agree that that kind of planned outage, without any sort of notice, would be unacceptable. Keep up the good work, and you're always welcome to drop in on this side of the boards!
