I just want to clarify on what Marty said...

The "Bread" he is referring to has nothing to do with money but is more to do with the fact that I am looking more and more like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

I'll be there! Only on Sunday, though; I have a barbecue competition to judge on Saturday (I know, it's a tough life...). Hoping to pick up some vintage types for my own collection, help my stepdaughter add to her Harry Potter/Buffy the Vampire Slayer stash and find some cheap junk cards to use as game prizes at my annual safe Halloween charity event.

Hey a71678,
I'll be set up all weekend with lots of cheap junk - so come see me and bring some leftover barbeque as I never seem to be able to get away from my table. (maybe I can trade cards for food!)

Wait a click: You just complained about your weight and now you're begging for Bar-B-Q. What's wrong with this picture?

Todd,

If I have some leftover barbecue lying around that I'm not using, I might throw together a doggie bag!

Hey, Why don't we barbacue Todd's *** and have a Saturday nite dinner for the rest of the dealers?
I'm sure they'll be enough to go around!

Well, back from the show. I met a71678 but unfortunately he ran out of bar-b-que. Ah well, maybe next year.

Flub - since there was no bar-b-que I did offer up my *** for Sat. but there were no takers.

It's a sad statement about the economy when Todd can put his *** on the line and still get no takers. Very sad statement indeed.

Yeah, sorry about that, Todd. I drew table captain at the competition, which means much less barbecue to go around since you're basically the server. But there's always next year!

Meanwhile, I keep having dreams about that sweet Jig Saw Nougat card. I'm not sure I'd ever shell out over a hundred bucks on a little piece of cardboard, but if I did, that would be the one!

I enjoyed the show. Completed two sets, got to see some awesome cards and boxes, met some great people and got to look at the Benchwarmer models wink.gif My wife and stepdaughter had a good time, as well, snagging "Star Trek" and "Walking Dead" wardrobe insert cards from their favorite vendor and stocking up on plenty of other things "Walking Dead," including the base set and box.

I also hope everyone got the chance to visit the train garden on the second floor of Merchants Square. It was almost as cool as the show (and they're still working on about a quarter of it).
